“For my experience with you in the classroom. Christopher is both a magnate and a lightning rod for his students to be keepers of their physical and even spiritual well being. The level of preparation is always evident, but his ability to audible to the needs of the class and to check-in with them clearly is a function of his background in massage and physical therapy. I have always found the proper balance of pushing myself and laughing at my inability to complete a hard exercise or pose in his classroom. His classes are a physical awakening of every fiber and a rip-roaring good time filled with plenty of jokes and self-deprecating humor.

For my experience with you as a personal trainer. I have been lucky to enjoy great health and sports that drive me to stay fit in the gym, but leading up to my wedding I wanted to kick things into overdrive and also push my surfing ability to the next level. Christopher made my workouts an absolute blast. They were dynamic, challenging and diverse in a way that kept my body guessing and my fitness level at an all-time high. His made sure to keep me honest with my flexibility and took extra precautions to both prevent injury in and out of the gym. Personal Training

I started working with Christopher 6 weeks before my wedding. My dress wasn’t fitting the way I wanted to and I was getting nervous. Christopher immediately kicked me into gear advising on both our sessions and all the maintenance in between. He tailored the routines to the specific objectives I was looking for. He helped me open my chest so that my top laid just right and put in the cardio to flatten my stomach. I felt so confidant going into the big day and truly felt my best.”

“I met Christopher at a turning point in my life. I had just gone through a messy break up, left a stressful job, recently moved to San Francisco, and knew I needed to get healthy. I had always practiced some type of physical activity, practiced yoga, ran a half-marathon, but was still in the worst shape in my life. I stated attending Christopher’s strength training classes and his focus on form and technique was a game changer. I started getting stronger and healthier, and then a year into my progress, I was in a car accident and had to completely reset again. I needed to take 3 months off from working out, and knew a lot of my strength had diminished. I was scared to lift weights for fear of injuring myself further and didn’t know how to get back to where I had left off. I reached out to Christopher for one-on-one help- and started personal training with him. We went back to basics at first- he assessed me from how I held myself while walking and standing, to just turning my head, and was able to identify even the smallest muscle groups in my neck and back that still need to heal before being able to get back to strength training safely. Christopher incorporated physical therapy exercises into my weekly homework assignments, while focusing on rebuilding my core strength and overall awareness of my form and movement. We were able to eventually build back up to weights and further strengthening to the point that I can happily say, I am stronger and healthier than ever before, and am not even done yet! One simple thing that Christopher once told me, and stays with me as a daily affirmation, so I’ll pass it on to others as a reminder: “Be kind to your body.” Thank you Christopher for helping me along this journey!”
